Default All Truck Shoot-Out in Memphis, TN!!

Let's Race.
Right now it look slike Memphis, TN late February right now. Just trying to nail down interest. This originated at DTW and has spread pretty quick. We're planning to rent the track, which will be in the neighborhood of $3,000. Quite a few people have already said they'd put up at least $100 toward the rental. Here is what's included... yep, some of you AutoXers can get out there too LOL

ROAD COURSE OR DRAG STRIP– TESTING RENTALS
Eight 8 hours, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

$3,000.00/day Monday through Friday
1 fire truck with 3 fire fighters
1 ambulance with 2 paramedics
$150.00 per hour after eight 8 hour

$3,500.00/day Saturday or Sunday
1 fire truck with 3 fire fighters
1 ambulance with 2 paramedics
$150.00 per hour after eight 8 hour

20% OFF if rented between November and February, $2800 on weekend.

Right now there's about 20 guys from DTW verbally committed to coming out for this (that will likely drop due to unavoidable circumstances) but a good start none-the-less. And not to mention the 5 or so other sites this is posted on. So, if you're interested in doing this (this is not a commitment) start a list.

Copy and Paste Please
1) Hemidup
2) ColtSteele (You Ferd's & Chebby's ain't got a Prayer!!)

j/k - let's see if we can get a good turnout for this- will be FUN!

Thanks guys

goshawk23, I had the opportunity to pheasant hunt with one. The Goshawk never missed a bird. It was nature at it's finest between predetor and prey. (Here's where the fun comes in) Let's see the prey, Dodge, win a few victories over the predetor, Chevy. Let the rivalry begin!

This is all in good fun, right? In that case...

Supercharged w/ more cubes than an N/A 5.3L, and still not the fastest truck around. JFWY! Let the rivalry begin.

I'd LOVE to run up there, but I don't think the wifey would let me get away from her and three kids (10, 2, & newborn). No, she doesn't like to travel that far by car either. I asked, and got those laser-cut eyes.

Yes, this is where the fun begins. My 12.65 run was with a slippery converter that calculated to a 38% slippage rate. There are 10.000 excusses to lose a race. Eliminate those excusses... and you'll win the race. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. The point of the matter is, we'll all have a great time. We can all learn from one and other and have a great time besides.
