Default Been called out already!!

I've been called out by this dude at a local car meet. He has an 04 GTO (T-56), he's running full exhaust and that's it. He showed me his timeslip and his best with those mods on street tires is a 13.4 @ 106. I told him I'd prefer to do this at the track, but he wants to do this on a secluded street both dig and roll. I haven't agreed to anything, and he's under the impression I'm only doing a cam and full exhaust.

Am I going to stand a chance against his goat on the road? I'd rather wuss out and not do it than go through all that hard work only to get my butt kicked my first time out with the new setup.

thats a f-up run....trapping 106 he should be pretty good into the 12's. dont trust that slip IMO. i say stall him until you get the funds saved up and spray his world away

I would definately do it at the track... ls1 cars in the street are a whole different story.... believe me I lost to a GTO 6.0 stock other than exhaust and CAI, he went to the track that same day and ran a 13.0... well atleast my truck couldnt keep up, I hanged next to him till about 80mph and after that he was gone...

If he's trapping 106, it ought to be interesting. Infact, you may take him with a H/C 6.0

Weight X. HP is going to be a big issue for a win.
I say run it with what you have now.
from a dig and from a roll you get to see where you stand
To something that weighs much less then you.

Their is no shame in losing to something you cannot beat (right now ).
but the knowledge gained of knowing where you stand on this HP ladder
Is worth it.

Shouldn't be a problem, I took out a 6.0 GTO on the street with just a 3000 stall, headers, tune, intake, and ET Street Radials. It wasn't the longest race but he wasn't reeling me in.

Rhino79 got it on video, it's at the very end, ahh good times!

Shitty track so don't mind the times!

If you notice the e.t. vs mph on the m6 cars, his time is right on average maybe a little slow for full exhaust, but def. take it to the track, m6 will have heck of a time getting off the line

I'm really just worried about his trap speed...I think I'd get owned from a roll. But I guess we'll see what happens. I'd be a lot more confident if we stuck to the track.

I know he raced a guy with an SRT-4 that runs low 13's (12.7 on DR's) and was basically neck and neck the whole run so I *think* his slip is legit.

NICE! Man that's a little confidence booster...that one looked to be an LS2 GTO too?
