Nope, no dirt track racing yet, this is street racing so I have to set it up to takeoff and not lift cause right now I can't let it rip and I don't want to strap her down. Will lowering it help? or both front and back? I just took off the baffle last night and it does feel better.

learn to ride or put a +6 swingarm on it. I personally put a +6 swingarm on mine. I can hook you up with a guy who builds custom swing arms for cheap

you'll more than likely want to re-jet since you removed the baffle, those are fun quads, heres the 06 i had up till a few months ago, i had the CDI box, Ron woods header and drag pipe, K&N kit, and some other minor things, i was never beat

P.S. best launch i could get mine to do on the dirt was starting in second gear, bouncing off the rev-limiter and dumping the clutch

Yikes... am i right when i say that its not a good idea to rev them that high when the clutch is disengaged and in gear.... I cant remember where i saw this at, but they were saying that i can wear the clutchs at a extremely high rate...
but for racing and stuff you got to do what you got to do to get the holeshot.
