SO I guess you found a way to adapt the factory brakes to the drum flanges? Is that the same kind of 14 bolt I have? I know mine was out of a 93 van.

Yes, I can get the factory brakes to work.

New flanges welded on to bolt the disk brake backing plates to:





Also notice the bling U-bolt flip which I recommend to everyone as the way the u-bolts are oriented from the factory promote corrosion on the bottom of the axle tubes.

Here she is all finished:




Also, here is a shot of the new drive shaft that got installed as well. It is a 2 piece with a heavy duty carrier bearing and 1350 U-joints. This shaft was made by Gilbert at Driveshafts Inc. in Houston. I HIGHLY recommend him.
