did some street racing today...
txsilverado and I met up to have a little fun in the street... we did a few runs, both of us on street trim, me at full weight, tonneau, 20's and all....
we did 2 - 30mph rolls, which equaled in me getting smoked bad!!! my first gear is worthless even with 20's, it will just light the tires up and stew would jump on me nasty and be ahead about 2trucks before i even got traction..his nittos are damn sick! thats what everyone needs to be racing on the street!!! then we did about 3- 40mph rolls, that is the bottom of second for both of us..... my truck jumps real damn hard from a 40mph (surprises me cause it didnt use to do that), it would jump about 1/2 truck in front of stew but he would slowly come and catch up and pass me, i would be at his rear tire when my converter would lock up @ 95mph, and it would just stay there at his rear tire, i only had one run that i would stayed right at his door and we had to let go due to upcoming traffic, he has a hell of a top end to catchup and pass me....... your truck is freaking sick with them nittos stew, there is no way i could catch up from a 30mph..... i was just hoping to run the same times from last year, but i really think my truck has a very low 12 in it this year but who knows, there will be some serious weight reduction done to it so we'll se what it will do this season...
had a great time stew, lets do it again anytime buddy!! next time we need to find a very long stretch so we can go past 100mph! lol...
and before anyone pops up and say somthing....
THERE IS NO VIDEO!!!! we thought about it afterwards but like always too late, we'll have to take a video next time we do it....
