I'd say it was the converter causing the codes if you didn't have the obvious sounds.

To be that noticeable it'd have to be something like a plug wire loose.

har har....check the plugs on that side...if you hear a misfire, then its probably not a false code...

crap, when I installed my taylor wires(same time as I installed the LT's & ORY) I didn't put dielectric grease in. I bet it's gonna be a bitch to pull em off & make sure they're properly seated on the plugs. I really don't think the wires is gonna be the issue though. I'm gonna be checking it out tomorrow.

Torque converter.

They will throw random misfire codes if not tuned for them.

I guess I need to do a log with teh autocal & send it to him before I go to replacing stuff?

I've driven approx 1K miles since the TC was installed.

I'd say it's something mechanical. Would have shown up well before now if tune related.

It could be a loose converter bolt or broken flex plate which is becoming famous around here. Mine is ticking and im getting knock retard around town and some wide open throttle. At idle it doesnt have any so im wondering if it is the flexplate flexing/cracked

burnt #5 plug wire. burnt even with a silicone sock, no damage to the sock.

I knew I should have spent a little more for LT's without the hump
