Drinking on the beach is no big deal. NO Glass Beer. Drink mixed drinks or beer in cups.. Dont show it off and you'll have No problem. I go there every sat and sun. Hot spots. Blondies, Exit 66 pool party, Elbow Room. Las Olas is the bar/club scene there. I dont know your age it might help.

FT L is Vegas with Beaches. Hard Rock Casino is a hot spot too just minutes west.

I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. I miss the hell out of the beaches and bitches! hahaha

MUST DO: Hard Rock Seminole Casino (full of bars to go hopping)

Fishing wise your best bet would be like a full day trip make sure the boat has down riggers etc. If you just want like a half day fishing then "Drift" fishing is alot of fun.
Check out the "Helen S" for that. We usualy have good luck with them

Like stated above, drinking on the beach is okay. Plastic/cups only.

Place to eat: Rustic Inn is a BADASS and fun seafood place.

July 4th, I would check out south beach in Miami. That will be a happening place that night. They'll be shooting off fireworks all along the beach though.

Im going to be down there end of next month probably. I miss the beach! Texas' so called "beaches" are **** compared to Florida!!
