Default Good muffler shop in/near Houston?

Looking for a good muffler shop in or around Houston. I want them to do a resonator install (mentioned here https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=424169) , and since it is not a standard fabrication, would rather go to a good rather than cheap shop.

Thanks for the input!

Ripley's does good work and they charge for it.....woodlands and 1960 are locations. Stan's Sotex in Tomball does pretty good work for a great price.

The southside boys can chime in.....I can't remember the shops from that side of town.

I would say Southwest Muffler on Hwy 6 between Clay Rd. and W. Little York, as I've had them do my exhaust work on at least 5 of my vehicles, but the last time I was in there the changed my mind on that. There used to be an old guy with a crazy elbow that did good work, but I think he's since stopped working on cars and left it up to a couple younger guys. The younger guys did an ok job on my last install, but not anything worth recommending them for.

Oh, and this was probably about a year ago, when I had them work on my '01 2500HD.

Only one I know of too.

I think Lone Star Muffler does all of G-force motorsports exhaust fab. The are off telephone road on the southside, and affordable muffler and brakes do good work too-they are on dairy ashford. Also, I hear Icon Autosports does excellent custom fab, but I think they are pricey.
