Don't you already have an SLP loudmouth resonator on your truck? How does the sound compare to the LM setups on the f-bodies?

Running it over the axle will drastically reduce resonance.

That is what I did. I have longtubes, dual 3" with x-pipe, cut-outs, and then a stock 6.0 muffler. You can still tell it is cammed, but it SO nice. With the cutouts open, it sounds like a NASCAR!

i have tried quieting down a multitude of different vehicles (SSS, TBSS, GTO, F100) with the dynomax racing bullets acting as a resonator, and I have never had any success...in fact i could barely notice any difference with the exception of a little deeper note.

anyways, from my experiences, i would save up and get a corsa, or get a flowpro HD muffler and keep your cutouts for when you want loud - just get some e-cutouts so you can choose at a moments notice.

good luck!

i have a similar setup im running pacesetters, into my e cutouts then a magnaflow 22 in dual 3" in/out with an x pipe built in. it is very tame with the cutouts closed but scary with them open.

dont know if the loud mouth would make any quieter. You might want to try a turbo muffler(borla, dynomax).

I put a single 3'' highflow cat after my electric cutout and it removed the raspyness and actually sounds very good now. I did notice a slight decrease in power with the cat but not enough to remove it again. Set up is pacesetters, ORY, 3'' cutout, 3'' cat, then magnaflow single in dual out to the rear. It's a hell of a sleeper with cutout closed but too loud when open.
