Default guys i have a question about coils

I have heard different thinks about the 2 different coils.the round ones and the square ones.witch one is better.witch one do i want to use.

haha I'm not sure if he knows the difference between a square and a circle Randy..

If you have both sets. I'd try one then the other. but I believe there's not goin to be a difference..

one of the LS1 performance books mentioned that the round coils had a bigger heat sink and worked better in high hp, high rpm setups

Unfortunately Jonathan is 100% correct. I was just being retarded. I do know there is a difference between the 2005 coilpacks and the 2001's where the 01's are better but as far as the round ones...

I used the round ones in my pro street application.......most all of the ladder bar and four link cars use the round ones.
Tha square one you need to put under your seat to hold your big *** up......LOL!!!

thanks that is what i am looking for so i need to use the squared ones cause it sure not going to have high hp maybe high rpm.

I have tried all coils that I could and I cant tell a difference. Im a service mgr at a gm dealer and have had access to many different coils. Thats why a run the LS1 coils, they are the cheapest ones to buy. If I was fast, maybe it would make a difference?
