With a shift kit and or servo you are doing the same thing pretty much as turning up the line pressure. When you do 2 or 3 of these things you are destin for BAM!!! If you want your truck to shift correct and firm get a shift kit and servo and put your line pressure settings back to stock or 0-10% firmer.

A converter will also soak up a little shift firmness.

Putting in a servo and turning up the line pressure are two very different things concerning how hard they are on the transmission. Servo = good. More line pressure = bad.

Putting in a vette servo is the exact same thign as turing up line pressure as far as shift firmness is concerned. The vette servo has less apply area so it requires less fluid/pressure to execute the shift and ahve the same holding power, or you can bump the line pressure up and get the same thing. Adding both probably isnt the smartest idea. A shift kit raises line pressure the right way, raising line rpessure by the EPC solenoid can cause pretty much any problem you can imagine with your truck.

90000 miles stock trans, pulling loads barking 1-2 shifts and the truck still shifting fine and add the 75 shot threw the shifts.
