I hadn't heard, but I might consider it. SHould be nice. Forecast from the weather channel says 50 degree low with 65% humidity. Probably 60 degrees or so while the track is open. Anybody else interested, I'm tempted to run since I got my tune.

I may go watch and hangout if I have time. I haven't done anything new to the truck, so running it would be a waste of gas.

Looks like I will be down in Baytown using my buddy's dad's shop to attack my shackle install with air tools. So I might as well go to the track.

Post up if you're gonna be there so I know to look for people.

Well I made it out there about 9pm. Made 5 passes. I didn't feel like I was hooking on my pos street tires. Not that I made that much power anyhow.

Played around with different take off rpm. Max brake stall about 900 rpm. My previous best 15.177@89.6 with a 2.2xx 60'. (just got the longtubes on still running the predator tune)

Tonight it was probably 20 degrees warmer than last time we went out.
This was the first time to run with my new tune.
Tonight's best. Ithink I could have done better brake stalled to 1100 or so.

r/t .154
60' 2.271
330 6.399
1/8 9.785
1000 12.730
1/4 15.248
mph 89.27

I'm not sure what to make of the difference. I suspect the DA tonight was much worse than when we went out and it was low 40's outside. I think I might talk to Charlie and see if there is anymore we can do with the tune.

Overall I figure the tune actually gained a little over the predator, but the air was worse so I lost a tenth or two there. Oh well.

I can personally vouch that temps will kill times. In my experiences about every 10 degrees is a tenth or so off your times. I've seen a 20 degree temp difference knock off 2-4 tenths easily, so that actually sounds about right. I imagine in similar 40 degree temp conditions you'd be in the high 14's.
