Jim, PM me. I had put Escalade gauges in my Sierra that had the trans temp gauge. It is a direct plug and play setup, all these trucks are wired for the trans gauge. I sent mine off to this place up in Carrolton, TX for the reprogram, turnaround time was like 2 days and only cost like 35 bucks to do, only big problem is they need both your stock guages and the new ones, so if you don't have a spare car to drive, might be SOL.
Oh, and don't even mess with the dealership, unless you have a friend that works there. I went to several dealerships asking about the reprogramming and they were all like, its a federal offense to tamper with the mileage bullshit. They wouldn't even talk to me about it.

Guess I will not be able to have a factory gauge cluster with the tranny temp guage. Was told by my local service techs that the 05's will not accept the tranny temp gauge. He did say that the 03 & 04 trucks would.
Guess I'm SOL.
