From several posts I've read, the guys programming and sending them out are not doing that great of a job.
Seems like quite a few customers are complaining of little power gains and bad tranny shifts. Then it takes them a retune or two to get it right.
I guess the statement of "you get what you pay for" seems appropriate.
How about a Wait4Nelson tune!

I'm sorry I have to say something.
I'm running Jessie's tune on my truck.
no sending back, no burnt up trany, no keep doing it till it was right.
I provided every little detail that I could, what I wanted and at what rpm I wanted it to happen, even did some wonderful stuff when the tow/haul was activated and Jessie nailed it the very first time.
did I get what I paid for, Hell Yes
93 oct performance tune, on 42 lbs injectors with 10 psi of boost on a 2002 pcm
for 157.50
MTI wanted over 800.00 to tune my truck local.
Allen over 400.00 for a mail order and a road trip to his shop too finish it.
Jessie 157.50 and 5 weeks of waiting to show in the mail, I'm very happy with this one.

I'll have to back you up on this.... I am so far a satisfied owner of Jesse's tunes... but mine was here in one week
I have only retuned mine once, and that was after the cam/spring install.. but a fellow member ( )did do some logging for me after the cam/spring install before I sent out the pcm for a retune so that might of helped?? I know alot of people have not been satisfied but he has done a kick *** job my tune... I stll need to do some logging to see how good it is... I am sure that a dyno is way better than any mail order but so far so good, so I will stick with him until I am not satisfied....

Just stating What several people have posted about the wait4me tune.
I'm sure $160 is better than $490 that I paid, but mine was done right the very first time. Am I satisfied???.......couldn't be more.
Not knocking Jesse on the performance his tunes put out, you just really get what you pay for. It does seem that the problems are eventually corrected, but it takes one or more times to get it right, or like your scenario, 5 weeks.
Anyways, I'll stick with Allen Nelson one way or another.
