He can still take it out in percents. I think you will be fine with 50% of TM.
I have 100% of TM taken out and it's not all that bad. The shifts do bump pretty good when you get into it though.
At 85% of TM removed it was fine to drive for everyday. I just wanted the extreme of 100% TM removed.

Yeah, but you already have a 4L65E Jim! I really don't care if the POS 4L60E goes out, but I want to have $ saved when it does. It's my daily driver and don't care to borrow back my old Z-71.

That 65E isn't all that much of an improvement over the 60E.
It will not shift hard with minimum TM removed. The firmer shifts are better for the clutches and plates in the tranny. Smooth shifts = slow wear.
Even the Munday Chevrloet service manager agrees with it.
Not that says much but it does hold truth.

Yeah thats why I moving to the biggest college town in this portion of the country for the big hairy men how did you know

Beau I have a shift kit in my built trans and a vette servo along with the line pressure bumped up to aorund 80psi at idle which is about as high as you want to go and 2 washers in the accumulator with my stall and it isnt harsh at all. You damn sure now its a preformance trans at part throttle 1-2 but its not bad at all and after a day of driving oyu wont even notice it anymore.

On a side not look at this ****

for those that arent motor savy thats a broke second compression ring that ******* cracked while I was filing it to fit the cylinder so it seems I hit yet nother road block on the road to finally getting my truck back together

Hey Beau Ill take you for a ride in my truck and you can feel how my truck shifts and see if you like it. Allen can always tune the shifts softer if you need it to.
