got my updated pcm about 10mins before I left to work, so I got that thing in and it fired right up!!! let me tell you that this truck pulls like a ****!!! still have to do something about my damn traction issues.. only drove it for 30miles on the way to work, and if it gets better I am going to be a happy ****!!! no SES lights either... ... cant wait to get off of work to drive it, and its 44degree's right now!! hope to see some good results on the 20th!! only thing that I am not to happy about is that before the new tune the truck would idle at 500rpm and you could here a nice lope, now with the new tune it idles @ ~650rpm and you can hardly hear the lope... do you think there would be a problem if I send it pcm back and tell him set the idle @ 500rpm again??? but I can always leave it like it is a it'll be a sleeper

Allen Nelson told me he usually sets his customer's vehicles that have larger cams around 700. Just because it doesn't sound like it has a lopey cam, doesn't mean it's not doing its job.
Performance is what should be chosen over sound.
Just leave it where it is...........or go to a larger cam

Allen PM'ed me back. He said he would check out our post here about going to HRP on the 20th.
Not really sure if he will consider it though.
Hope to see him out there though.
