I find all the little **** doesnt get to me like it used to.

Last week, I decided to go get a Netbook for my tuning needs, and cause the one I wanted has built in 3G. Well, Im working nights so I got to Best buy too early. I also needed dog food and some reading material for work, so I got back on the interstate and headed back to the previous exit. I got off the interstate and coming from the direction I was coming there was only one way to get where I was going.
A few months back they outlawed texting while driving in La. While I wasnt texting, I was surfing the web (on this site actually) in my truck with illegal window tint, while not wearing my seatbelt. I came to the underpass I had to go under and was greeted by two of La's finest LEO's. I dropped my phone, reached for the seatbelt, and tried to roll the windows down, in effect not accomplishing any of the 3
I pulled up to one officer who motioned for me to roll my window down, so I did. he looked at me and stated they were just checking for seatbelts which I replied, well I dont have mine on. He directed me to pull in front of his cruiser, and proceded to write my ticked while continuously stating "Im sure you are aware of this but....." To which after about the 5th time I finally had to say, Im not sure why I should know all this, its been years since I got a seatbelt ticket. Guess I just have "that" look.
I left by wishing him a good day, while laughing my *** off about the phone flying, and being too confused to know what else to do. F it I was wrong and I got caught.

Fast forward to today when I get a text this morning (in my chair, not in my truck) saying "dont let xxxxx borrow your boat" this happens to be my old boat


While I found humor in it, little did I know what was happening across town.

I got a ext from another friend who happens to be borrowing my boat saying "I cleaned out the inside of your boat"
then received this pic



Like I said, in my aging years, I was at least able to find humor in it. No one was hurt, and shouldnt be too expensive to repair. On a better note, the guy who sunk mine has it back on the trailer and going to the shop in the morning, while the other friend with the sunk boat is fixing everything himself.

I know there isnt much involved, but working 7 13+ hr nights, Im glad I dont have to mess with mine.

 

And of course it helps that he happens to have a small contact at said shop LOL


IDK how cool I would have been at 1st --- Ida prolly not replied at 1st -- then been like -- well **** it -- itll be fixed -- so its all good -- LOL

Well after I got the first pic, I was too busy Laughton and trying to tell him it wasn't that bad, so I wasn't that upset. Besides like I said I knew it would be taken care of.

The guy in the pic is my buddies nephew. Trust me my friend doesn't need a jr cheeseburger any more than I do lol

the plug was in, just had a lot of rain lol
