well call me all you want.
my wife likes it, she only wishes it had rubys instead of sapphire's.
we had a good jewler that was over at the mall we did business with
allot.
he moved to a place in what is called the underground mall over in
houston, where all of the office buildings are connected by tunnels.
now we have to drive to houston to get jewlery repaired, resized,
altered or see what is new in the case.
some times when i go out prospecting and find enough raw gold
he will cast it in to a ring or a charm for a neckless.

I just got back from Jared's checked out some settings and diamonds... Pretty cool place and they do custom work so they will be able to build the wedding band from her grandmothers ring, which is really import to my girlfriend.

I told my father about this and this is what he said.

Would you want her to get you a Cobalt or a GTO, they are both cars, both get you from point A to point B.... Might as well do it right the first time.....
So after Jareds and talking to my father I think my budget has increased some.

Dan...

That's cool that you have someone that will do that. There's a lot of labor required in that process. It's rare that you still can find a jeweler that will do that.

We have allready talked about the "Toys"... After we determine what our budget is going to be, savings, 401k, etc , we are basically both going to have a set spending allowance each month that we get to do what ever we want with, no questions asked. If one of us wants/needs to go over it then we have to talk about it. My girlfriend likes it when I build stuff, go to the track, etc cause she knows that makes me happy. Also she knows that I have been working on cars before I was even able to drive so she knows that is a big part of my life.
