IF you are billy badass at welding and can make aluminum vaccum tight it would be light. Probably more expensive but badass. I would stick to a big *** stainless unit myself.

They actually pull a vacuum on the anulus, hook up a Leak Detector (LD) and spray helium on the outside of the tank. If it leaks the helium(which is a very small/simple molecule) will be detected by the LD. If there is the slightest pin hole the tiny He molecule will get sucked in by the vacuum. Make sure you actually fuse the metal while walking the cup and dont dip the tungsten. If you do, grind it out and start over. Weld with stainless filler and use a clean grinding wheel and tungsten.
