Default Little things make a difference

I swapped to some TR55 plugs, since the bottle is off and the TR6's I took out were BURNT along with a new ported and polished TB, and new intake tube... I must say the truck feels a ton better...

basically, I went from:
granatelli intake tube (square, junk)
stock TB
shot TR6 plugs

to...
Volant tube (same filter and location as before)
Shaner ported and polished TB (w/all the mods)
Fresh TR55 plugs

oh yeah, and the TB bypass finally....

feels much better from a dig, and better up top as well... should have done it sooner. and I have about $70 total in all the changes too

now I need to get retuned for n/a... my nitrous tune is still sucking.

I might make more than 301 on the dyno now

I updated my sig too... I'm such a badass

whenever I can take the truck and leave it with Kevin for a couple weeks so he can work on it... the tune will be fixed. it sure does feel good in this cold air we've had the past couple days

I dont know if it really "works" persay... I just did it while I had the TB off and the hoses were right in front of me. no reason not to I guess... it was easier to bypass it than try to get those damn clamps back on the TB LOL...

now, if I can just get about 300lbs of JUNK out of it, I'll be in better shape. I layed down about 350 ft of rubber on the hwy in front of my house... made me feel better

Yeah, I got it from a guy here who went to a radix and didnt need it.. worked out for me. I got the TB used from a member here too. I cleaned it up a little and put it on, I figured it would idle like **** since the screw on the throttle blade had been moved but it didnt change... throttle response is better and I can definitely tell it flows better all over the RPM range.

Carey, Jordan... you know how I am with used parts... I'm all about used poarts

yeah, I have sworn off buying substantial stuff like that used... unless you 100% know its history... I sent that thing to PI because thats what it was sold as, and they said it wasnt even one of their converters after all... what a bunch of run around...
