locked myslef out of my 99 silverado this weekend. Used a key from my dads 2001 chevy express van and it opened right up. Wouldnt work in the ignition but it opened the door without a problem. Thought that was pretty interesting.

you can pick up a slim jim pretty cheap at most auto part stores, I have one. I also know that the Ford Trucks of that body style are super easy to learn to use them on. If it seems to be an issue then get one and tape it under the truck on the frame or something, I've used mine to open several different types of vehicles...

Im going to get an extra cut for it to hide on the truck. I would have done it sooner but supposedly I was getting moved to a different truck soon and now they are saying Im sticking with this truck so Ill get one made. I have a spare on my Z71
