What are some unusual LSx swaps in non-LSx vehicles that you have seen, trucks in particular?

i was reading the conversion/hybrid section on tech and couldnt find anything on trucks besdies the s10s.

i was thinkin a nissan/toyota/datsun/maxda type compact pickup would be cool with a ls1/t56/12bolt

anyone ever seen a 94-01 dodge fullsize with a LSx swap

ive seen/heard of a GM 88-98s, GM 73-87s, RX7s, datsun 240z, even porsches with swaps

anybody got anything highly original?

 

I am planning on putting one in a 70 mustang (the one in my sig)

im going to put a LS1 into a OPEL GT. if i can ever get back form afghanistan and work on it. lol

 

i guy on another forum i get on is puttin a turboed 5.3 in a nissan 240 sx

 

When I get my new motor for the truck, I am putting the H/C LS1 into my '91 Nissan Stanza beater and converting it to AWD. Should be a nice little sleeper.

 

A guy over on tech put one in a Grand Prix, I think. I know it was front wheel drive and he mounted the engine sideways.

 

I saw one at the track, an RX-7 with stock LS1 conversion. Ran low 12 with no tuning.

 

a buddy of mine here in town is stickin an ls7 out of his dads Z06 in his RX-7
