My New Toy for Hunting Season
Well I have been hunting with the scope that came with my rifle for 4 years now and Im tired of not being able to see through the scope @ dusk so I broke down and bought a new scope.
Leupold VX-L 3.5-10 x 50mm
It came in today but Im offshore and cant play with it till I get home in a couple of weeks.

i make it a challenge by hardly using a gun anymore....bare heands!!! j/k but i would rather go bowhunting anyday over shooting them with a gun. dont get me wrong if its freezing ballz outside ill sit in a blind with a heater and gun but my passion is with a bow. shooting deer with a gun didnt even give me the "fever" anymore. archery gives "the fever" an entirely new meaning.

I got a good deal on it too. Payed $600 shipped for it.
Tell me about mounting rings --- I have been told to check out the Redfield Steel Rings. Anybody know anything about them?
