Default odometer reflash in Houston

does anyone know a place that does this in Houston? I've called plenty of dealerships and no one does it. I bought a SS gauge cluster and now I'm beginning to think it was a bad buy since I can't find anyone who will reflash it!

When I had mine done, I sent it out to a GM/Delco authorized repair facility in Carrollton TX. Cost like 40 bucks to do which is cheap, but you have to send your stock and new cluster in to them. Turnaround time is very quick though. PM me for number in interested.

is there anywhere else? I don't want to be without a vehicle during that turnaround.

US Speedos sent me a entirely different gauge cluster with my miliage & Engine hrs that I wanted it to say. I pretty much kept it the same so I would not have problems in the future with my warranty.
They should be able to reflash that 06' SS gauge cluster with no problems.
At least you will not be down as well.
Talk to Jason over there.
Sorry, but I do not know who will do it here in Houston.
The techs at Munday Chevrolet have done it. That's what the shop service manager has told me.

US speedo would take the ss cluster and reflash it even though I didn't buy it from them?

I'm calling Munday in the morning.

They should. Jason is pretty cool over there. Does the SS speedo have zero miles on it, or did you get it used? That may have an impact on it. Not sure though. Just give him a call if Munday won't do it.

They tech over at Ron Carter Auto acted like I was commiting a federal offense when I just asked about having them reflash the cluster.

US Speedos will do it for $75.

I talked to the guy at munday and he said they, and as far as he knew all gm folks in texas, sent all their instrument/gauge clusters to somewhere in dallas. Its probably the Carrollton facility, so I think I'll call them.

I would do whichever is cheaper between the two. I'm very impressed with US Speedo's work.
Just look at my gauge cluster(bragging) LOL.
