im using LPE yellow springs with .571 lift. They are the yellow z06 springs.
Im also voting for the 220/220 on a 112. Pm sport side and see what he can brew up for you.

I will agree with V8, the 224 will go good in the truck...
just make sure you size the TC correctly, you wont get optimal performance out of it if you dont...
3,000 or higher will do..
that lift is really close to the lift I have on my cam.. I am riding at .561 lift..
most of the newer 224 cams I have been seeing lately are running a .581 lift
and as far as springs go..
I wouldnt chance it, even tho some guys are. what works for one doesnt necessarily mean it works for all.
go with some 918's or double springs..
also make sure you check the base circle of the cam to size your push rods right..

if i had an opportunity to try another off the shelf cam it would be tsp's 220 .581 or the 224 .581. sounds like your on the right track. 918's are a must and probably a 3k stall.

you either want the 220, or you want the 224...

I say bite the bullit and get one...
but if you ask me I am partial to the 224
also as stated above with either of these 2 cams, a 3,000+ stalled TC will be required to reap the full benifits, other wise if you under stall, there will be a dead spot from off idle untill the RPM Power band of the cam
