Default Problems with 350TBI in my boat

Im sure Im overlooking something simple, and actually have a few more things to check, but looking for some more possibilities.

Last year, we bought the boat used, used it a few times and had no problems. All of a sudden we started having issues with it running fine, then suddenly dying, or not cranking at all. Changed battery, checked alternator etc etc. Fast forward to this year, Pull the boat out to get ready for a weekend on the water, and to fix last years issue. Tear the fuel pump apart, and it was locked up, Got that fixed, and noticed the injectors werent spraying too well. Cleaned them the best I could with carburetor cleaner, and she fired right up. Pulled her out Friday, and couldnt get it to start. Turns over fine, but wont fire off. Walked out there a few minutes ago and she cranked right up. Let it run about 15 minutes and it just died. Can get to crank back up, but it takes a lot of cranking. I watched and made sure the injectors were firing, and they are firing until the engine totally dies, so I think the fuel is not the issue. I checked the oil and its a little low, but not very low. Im not sure if it may have a low oil level cut off, but will add some anyway. Gonna change the plugs, rotor and cap, maybe its a bad ignition??? Doesnt make sense that it runs great for a few minutes then dies, and is a bitch to get started but Im at a loss. Im sure Im probably overlooking something simple, so give me some ideas.

inboard or I/O? Had the same problem with my carb'd 350 and mercruiser outdrive. Turned out to be the water pickup line had a kink...the guy that rebuilt the lower unit used radiator hose instead of steel braided. Changed the line, no problems since.

Keep checking all other parts of the motor, it may just be time for a good overhaul. May be an ignition issue, blown headhasket, etc...

Its an I/O

Pulled the distributor cap, all the terminals were corroded bad. replaced the cap, and rotor, ran great took it to the water, and couldnt get it to start, ended up frying the starter, last night I replaced the coil, and starter, and half the plugs. Gonna finish replacing the plugs this evening. I think theres a wiring problem somewhere, sometimes when you wiggle some wires, you can hear the fuel system pressure up, so I guess once I get the plugs changed, Ill start checking all the wires.

My parents had problems like this our one of our old boat with a merc 4.6L. They said "**** it" and went and bought a new boat. Mind the boat was 10 years old at the time, it was time for a new one.
