What does your oil pressure do as you drive down the road? does it come up evenly with more throttle? Does it hold steady at a certain RPM?

Lifters should be soaked in oil before install. Was this done? Take the valve covers off and use a handle of a soft blow hammer or like item to apply pressure to the top of the suspected rockers "While idleing" This will help you isolate which lifters didn't pump up.

oil pressure stays around 40 at idle. it does come up some but not like it used too. it used to stay at 60 at idle and raise up towards 80 when the rpms went up.

Man really tonight on the way home from work, just listining to the Wood Hauler's truck. it's pretty noisy too. And he has the Comp 850-16 lifters, TSP 7.4 pushrods, 6.0 heads, on a 408 and Pacesetters. I think that between the pacesetters and the non-adjustable valvetrain they are gonna make noise. Hell I just put a 226 cam in Tan327's 04 5.3 and it's pretty noisy too.
