Just curious what the rest of the weekend's conversation was like? I can understand if it's hard to believe my times...like I said, and you can even see in my video from the first track outing, I'm still shocked that it runs what it does.

it wasn't bad. nothing derogatory at all. we were talking about setups and times. blacksheeps setup, parishs setup then our setups. comparing what hp it takes to do what in what truck. blacksheeps 800 hp low weight truck running low 10's with potential 9's and parishs heavier truck taking a lot more hp to run low 10's. thats the kind of talk we had going

Yeah, we watched alot of vids Saturday night, including that one. Like John said, nothing derogatory, just putting things into perspective. Looking at setups/horsepower numbers/60ft times/mph/mods/etc of all the top dogs. Naturally your truck is going to come up in a conversation such as this. We knew most of your setup, but couldn't remember on the above questions.
Now why it came off as a call to some members...........

I hope y'all don't take what I'm saying the wrong way at all...I don't take it as a call out or anything derogatory at all. I wanna know why it runs so damn good too.

Hopefully w/ TQM removed, it'll run a little better. Who knows, after Formato tunes it it might dip down into the really low 11's or high 10's. In good air.

I guess that's what amazes me most. The truck ran a best of 13.19 @ 108 that day that I ran the 11.57 @ 119 on the bottle. That's 1.6 seconds quicker, and another 11 mph from a 100 shot. I haven't been able to do it again because of the stinkin' hot weather we've had. Back in the spring it ran 11.67 @ 118 on the 150 jets. All summer the best I could get out of it was 12.1-12.2 @ 114-116. As soon as the cool air hit a couple of weeks ago, the mph came back up and I finally made it back into the 11's.

My eventual goal is 9's. Don't know when I'm going to do it, or how, but I have a feeling it involves more cubes, some heads, and a couple of hair dryers.
