Times from HRP
Ok back in July in the heat of summer I ran a best of
2.14
8.90 @ 80.46
13.86 @ 98.56
Sunday I made four runs
1st Pulled in off the road went through tech and had a friend ride with me on the first run.
2.32
9.35 @ 79.03
14.36 @ 97.05
2nd Like it runs on the street
2.22
9.09 @ 80.75
14.03 @ 98.31
3rd Took the tailgate off.
2.23
9.15 @ 80.15
14.12 @ 97.58
4th
2.23
9.12 @ 80.41
14.07 @ 97.98
When I ran the 13.86 I had the 26" ET streets and it was almost 90 degrees I think. Sunday it was 64 degrees and I was on street tires. Did not feel like I was spinning off the line. Does the sound about right? Are the taller tires killing me that bad?

but yes 2 reason for the time difference is the height of the tire and you were spinning both can make a huge difference

it was cool outside but it was also humid as ****. humidity kills da. my strongest run was at full weight driving straight to the line after driving to the track. the later it got the slower my mph got(even though i lost weight and shortbelted). at full weight i trapped higher MPH in the 1/8 than with the gate removed, subs removed and shortbelted. the time was worse, but the mph was up without any spin. my 60' was off 1/10 too but thats probably due to the new 18's and wider tires which are probably lighter than my factory 17's were)
my best of the night was 14.35 @ 94.26 on a hotlap. my best ever was 13.80 @ 96.98 but that was also on slicks, no back seat, no passenger seat, no trailer hitch, and AWESOME weather. im trappin the same mph in the 1/8 as i did with the slicks and all that so i figure my trucks stronger, the weather just wasnt with us... all i added was the rollpan and ASP pulley.
kevin, do you feel like doing your DA magic and tellin us what it was on sunday night? 8:00 - 10:00
