Looks like they got exactly the attention they were looking for or a little more. 
They must have just thought they would have a few fingers thrown at them or something. I like their show but they have been outspoken about alabama before. They have serious issues that a Mercedez is built here and have spoken about it many times and how crappy it is. Just like a lot of the stereotypical British, think they are better than us. They were using Coke and their t shirts to clean the writing off! Priceless! 
Funny thing about Alabama is it is like two different countries, north of Birmingham and south of B'ham. Huntsville is one of the most advanced cities in the south as far as jobs go with NASA, Boeing, Teledine brown, Mcdonald Douglas, Missle Defense, Restone Arsenal etc to name a few. They were in South Alabama. Not that they would have had any different treatment in parts of N. Alabama but not nearly as many.

I like those guys too, but damn. You could easily flip that around though, in south London call someone a ******, and you get your ***** chopped off by a very large unpleasant man named Francis.
