Yes, it will be a staggered light. On my last pass, I left out like 2 seconds before the vette, and he ran me down on the other end. You just can't run any faster than the number you dial in. It doesn't really make for much of a show when the vehicles aren't very closely matched up.

I paid $450 for my cage.

Slow your cage is not legal is it? Since its only a 4pt, if I remember correct? Doesn't have to be 6pt?

That is one thing that I am worried about at shootout is being legal. I was planning on doing a 4pt for my own safety but there is no way I am putting bars out the back window.

Tx I dont think you have to go out the back glass. Be much easier for you to then us RCSB guys.

I wonder if you can have the bars bent to come up right between the bed and cab and just maybe put it at a 45 degree angle or something and never have to cut the bed, just the cab, but I think I would actually rather plexi glass. But dang if that doesnt just draw attention to everyoen piece of crap on teh roads.

NHRA rules are roll bar mandatory in all vehicles running 11.00 to 11.49.
Roll cage for any vehicle 10.99 or quicker or running 135 mph or faster.
