Now there is a car index class too. I would just as soon run in it as we are getting shafted on the purse in the truck class. $1000+plaque where every other class gets an lsx block or ls7 crate motor. I bet we pay the same entry fee too.

That is the first question I asked the NMCA guys. They are suppose to let us know? I have offered a LSX block for the Winner of the truck class, donated by my work. That would make the winner payout the same as the car class.

I just wish I could get out of the "try to go as fast as I can" mentality and actually try to bracket race. I'm thankful to see a truck index where they won't line me up beside a 9 second vette again. It sucks getting to leave 2 seconds before a car and having him run you down on the big end. Now, at least it will be a truck doing that to me.

That's some bullshit... especially when we spend twice as much as a 10 or 11sec car to go just as fast

Yea I ran at Super Chevy. Sounds like mine, I was dialing 7.62-7.64. Got beat in the second round. Saturday nite made it down to 5 out of 162.

whats the difference between a roll bar and a roll cage?

if i do a 6 point...would i be allowed to make the rear connections to the frame in my back seat instead of going through the glass?
