Glad you are ok! Did the two cars stop? From the sound of your story, some of the blame lies with them by speeding up and not letting you pass. Make sure all your internals get checked out. Can't see internal bleeding...

No, the cars that I was trying to pass didn't stop. I was going well over 100 and was barely making it past those ****. The driver of the oncoming car stopped though. But it was completely my fault for passing in a no passing zone and for not just pressing the brakes and getting back in my lane. I'm gonna try to pull that 6.0 out along with all the good stuff- trans/stall, posi/gears, e-fans, headers and exhaust, rims/tires, and cd player.

ima say this much, im glad ur ok that is the number 1 thing, but remember when u said u hate ur wife for backing into something and how bad u just bashed and bashed and bashed her? u just totaled that vehicle, so just be aware that no matter what sometimes things happen and u should be more humble with ur life. no one is perfect or invincible, and like i said im very glad u r ok.

Yeah, I know I talked a lot of **** about my wife, but we got over that whole situation before I wrecked the truck. I got a question. Nothing we put into the truck was submitted for coverage on the insurance. A few thousands worth of stuff. As far as they know, we had a stock 2000 Sierra. They knew about the wheels, but just warned us that they probably wouldn't be covered. So, when I wrecked the truck, I took out the RockOn Trans w/yank stall, and the 6.0 with all bolt-ons. I also took my cowl hood off. I replaced the trans with a broken one and installed a working 5.3 shortblock, but no pushrods...and the heads are LS6 heads that got trashed by piston to valve contact on all cylinders(they have Comp 918's though). The motor looks completely stock and would probably run if it had pushrods and rockers, but we didn't have time to install them. Can I get in trouble for removing the items that they wouldn't cover? We replaced all items removed except the pushrods and rockers. I installed stock exhaust, intake, fan, and trans w/cooler. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If the truck is truely totaled no one will ever know that you swapped all the parts out because no one will probably even try to start it or even look that close into it until it gets to the junk yard so i doubt you will get into any trouble.

damn! . . .

pull the engine, and put the old parts in the bed if you're really lazy. They're not covered through you insurance.
