Got a call from a podnuh who has a podnuh that didn't believe my (former) '02 Yukon ran a 15.91s 1320' ET. Apparently, he thinks I'm full of it. Well, those who were there saw it, and I still have the slip to show for it! Was told that this individual ran a 15.5s 1320' ET. Not much faster for a truck with more HP in the Titan than my 285hp Yukon (at the crank). All I had was a drop-in K&N filter, 50+ lbs speaker box with amp & cap bolted to it, large car seat for baby & baby stroller... not to mention my 200 lb ***. Maybe he didn't know how to run the Titan. Here's my old slips comparing the Yukon & new '07 Accord V6.





Now, I'm curious as to what the '07 Armada runs. At least, my R/T's were consistent... 60' ET sucks ***, but... have been told the 1320' was pretty nice for a stock SUV. Apparently, no one could get a comparable Tahoe of that year to run faster than 16s ET.

hell, a 2.3 60' in a stock yukon is amazing to me!

Yup, I was just over 200 then. Went up to 217 last summer, dropped to 193 in January, and am now back up to 203 (as of this morning). The day it ran 15.91 was 40-something degrees out with the headlight deletion, drop-in K&N filter, 32psi tire pressure, and manual 3rd gear (w/ traction control off).
