The important thing is you're OK physically. At least you look in your rear view mirror to see the idiots behind you. I know alot of people who never even use their rear view mirror while driving. I've escaped rear-enders just by watching people in my mirror....saved me from alot of BS and headaches afterwards.

The truck never shut off, it was on the whole time for whom ever asked. Im pretty sure that I could have avoided the wreck if the steering wheel would have not lockedup. The main thing I remember is thrusting the steering wheel during the lock up and it just wouldn't budge no matter how hard I tried to turn it. It just felt like it does when the car is off in Park. Locked.
What sucks the most is that it was less than 5 mins away from home and I actually had my blinker on at the intersection to head to my house, but then I was like **** it im hungry, imma get some jack in the box and instead of turning, i headed on up half a mile to JIB. Almost like it was ment to happen.
Gotta wait till tuesday before we can tell anything, insurance probably will screw me over aswell and i'll have to pay for it outta my own pocket. And my drop kit is suppose to be here on friday, probably gonna have to sell that.

if you have full coverage (which im sure you do, its a new truck) you can file the claim and the insurance company will have to pay, If you do this yea your rates will increase and if you have some marks on your record they may even drop you after your policy expires. Im not sure about the insurance laws over in Texas but here you can choose any shop you wish to do the work, Be sure to pick the best shop you can!!
I was hit at school one day, HIT AND RUN. Some jackass backed into the side of my bed. Just to replace the bedside cover was 2600.00! THANK GOD FOR FULL COVERAGE

it didn't really slide at all, it screeched the tires a bit and the next thing i know the whole fkn steering wheel is locked to the left. I was lookin at the price of the parts I need, they seemed pretty damn cheap but I can't imagine how much there gonna want for labor.
