Hey bro,

My Business Lawyer 'friend/buddy" iformed me that this could be considered Grand Larceny in a court of law. The fact that the money involved was over $200.00 makes this a felony matter. If you paid for a product or a service and neither was rendered, then a refund of either the original amount paid or a "store credit" has to be refunded to the original buyer.

Now, you would need to have legal reresentation to bring charges against the "retailer" for this. You may sue him, but if he has no equity, then all you would have is the fact that you won and he's wrong and a douchebag. But if he does have assets, you could recoup some cash from the guy. But the solace here is that he would indeed be facing Felony charges. Which would make life rather shitty for him in the future, because he could never own a firearm, no voting privelages and getting banks to finance a business loan to a felon is a pipedream.

It's all basically how far you want to drive this nail....ya know.
