Default Another Texas Speed Review

I recently ordered over $1200 worth of Heads / Cam install stuff, and barring the pushrod length checker being on back order, they had everything in stock and it arrived exactly when they said it would. There was a problem though...there was no timing chain in there. So I call them, get John on the phone and start the process. They verified that I wasn't lying just to get a free timing chain as well as verified that the timing chain wasn't removed from the box prior to it getting to me. Between both John, Jon (both sales) and Brian, the shipping manager, they had another timing chain sent out the next day, with minimal hassle on my behalf. All I had to do was make a few phone calls and take a picture, showing the condition of the box the stuff was shipped in. Oh, and the length checker that was back ordered until 2018, they promptly refunded my $$.

All in all, awesome company and awesome people to deal with. This is about the fifth time I have ordered something from them and this has just reaffirmed the reason I keep coming back.

Keep up the awesome customer support.

They will ship to me on Monday, and from there, its a coordination game. Me and my old man are doing the install so probably toward the end of the month. Should be very interesting...Lloyd said I should expect to see 380 or so at the rear...and that is a significant jump from stock.

you wouldn't believe how easy a head swap is....really shocked me how straightforward it is. The most difficult step is prepping the block and cleaning out the bolt holes (any water in the bolt holes can cause the block to crack)
