i dont know whos right or wrong, but 12k is alot of money! he either needs a turbo and NEW motor, or a whole lot of money back.

from what i read he has a new motor or rebuilt. it sounds like sts and zrated are trying to fix the problem, whatever is in the oil filter should not be in there and the dealership did something wrong, it is not zrateds problem for the oil leak, it is not sts or zrateds problem for whatever is wrong with the motor now. it is the dealership. i would either have the turbo installed or get your money back. i think alot of people want to see the end of this and would like to see some reciepts posted for the 12,000

sounds like a big oops. almost like a which happened first the chicken or the egg.

This was the proposal from Z-Rated. Only reciept I have is a check. I was promosed after they damaged the first truck that if anything happens they would get me a new motor. I wish like hell I had gotten it in writing.

In many states a verbal contract is as good/enforceable as a written one.

depending on the state the statute of limitations is short on recourse.

My point was, just because you didn't get it in writing, don't let that stop you from pursuing action.
