My Speed Engineering 1-7/8" long tubes fit great. If the stainless was a little thicker they would be fkn perfect

I had zero fitment issues with my SE headers on my 14. The y-pipe wasn't great but I welded that so no issues there with leaks but it did fit all the way with no clearance issues.

So I finally got everything sorted out, but definitely still not happy 100 percent. So in short, had to redo both O2 bungs, re-engineer the y-pipe to clear the front DS, remove the 2 bolt flange and replace with a v-band since it wouldn't seal up properly around the top, had to clearance 2 primary tubes a decent amount by the engine cradle. With the Borla ProXS, it sounds damn good, deep and throaty at idle and cruise, mean when you want it to.

I am looking for a new muffler/exhaust system: what part number is your Borla?

AND he paid for a set of headers and pipes that were supposed to fit on his truck.... and he didn't get what he paid for. (EDIT this out, because I'll try to make a better effort). It sounds like you are trying to.. "money shame"...

EDIT: Keep in mind this is a 15-20 year old pickup. I can buy a used running Silverado for the same price as those headers that cost 2-7 times as much as every other version of em.

What you said sounds like "Your takata airbag blew up in your face while you were driving and caused you to get into an accident, quit your crying, what did you expect when you didn't buy a Rolls Royce Phantom?
nvm you obviously dont get the point and never will.

Borla 40349 with some 2.5" SS turndowns. Make sure it's put far enough up ahead that it doesn't point directly onto your axle or shock. Great sound!

Classy.

I get it; you're being a snob, and you don't realize you are also a hypocrite. You made a comment, but you don't even understand how it actually applies against you.

Do you want another try at having a conversation, or is that all you can say, and how you want to leave it?

I know you already resolved your issue but I have a question I don’t think anyone has asked. What condition are your cab mounts in? If the exhaust seems to be pointing up noticeably, I feel it would be possible for the cab to be hanging lower than what it should, causing issues. Especially since when cab mounts go bad, they tend to sag towards the rear, possibly giving an appearance of the exhaust being pointed up an exaggerated amount.
