Mine cost me 660 before tax and shipping, I guess headers have gotten more expensive since the last one I built. Surely somebody can build a header for 700 bucks.

I called someone about headers for my Impala SS, American made though so maybe a bit different. They wanted $1300 for ceramic coated mild steel and $1700 for stainless steel.

Maybe this makes me old but I remember buying a set of Hookers spec'd for a early 70's Blazer, to fit my '65 C10, they did fit pretty well. Even fit with a bit of minor tweaking when I stuck a 350/TH400 in a '61 Apache on homemade mounts. Sounded good (for the time) with a set of Cherry Bomb header mufflers bolted straight to them, "clearanced" a little against the torsion bar crossmember..I think those headers were less than $200. Nothing special though but they sure did last a long time.

You are correct i guess. I checked summit and every pair of stainless headers they had was way more than these were. So **** just cost that much now. Damn.

So I did a test fit on these headers, and in my truck they fit perfect. No issues with the ones I recieved at all. 02 sensors fit easily and they fit around all the 4x4 with no issues.

Coming back for an update. These have been in the truck and running for a couple months now. They fit good, do not leak, and everything is hooked up. I could not be happier with this product. May not be the same for everyone, but mine worked great.
