Im not sure about an OEM navi system plugging into your truck and working right out of the box. You want to keep your steering wheel controls functional so have you thought about going aftermarket? Most navi units you can aquire from aftermarket companys like Alpine, Kenwood eXelon, Pioneer, etc have boxes that will plug in line with your factory harnes and the harness from the radio that will maintain the functionality of your controls. The companys I listed have great navigation units with 7" touch screes that will give you WAY more quality/functions than an OEM one from GM.

Start searching craigs list or e-bay for an older used unit. You should be able to pick up an Alpine IVA 205 or IVA 505 for a few hundred. That would do anything you want. The 505 is a great unit. I have 3 friends that have one and it works great. If you do look for a new unit it will cost you a pretty penny.

They should be around 50 bux or so. The IVA505 and IVA205 are almost the same unit but the 505 will do a few more things like navigation and I think it does a few more things with an ipod. They are solid units. All of my friends love their Alpines.
