lol. oh well. I have 3 12's in my truck and was running a 1/2 ohm. My amp didn't like that. Popped the 40A fuse almost instantly. I had to rewire 2 of the subs to be at 6.6 ohm and then the 3rd was at 2 ohm. Ended up being 3.5 ohm total. Threw in an 80A fuse and called it done.

The speakers are wired in parallel therefore you take the reciprocals of the resistance of each sub and add them, the reciprocal of the sum gives you the total resistance.
ex. 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 = 0.5 = 1/2
= 2 ohms
if there were 2, 4ohm and 2 8ohm it would look like this
1/4 +1/4+1/8+1/8 = 1/.76 = 1.32ohms
I was thinking about putting two of those shallow Premier 12's behind my back seat in my ecsb, i think there is just enough room for them since they only require 4" of depth, might have to make a fiberglass box to get the airspace. I have two 10's under the seat allready. Theres not a lot of room under there for 12's again unless you went with a fiberglass box. 10's fit nicely and sound better
