Arrow 95 GMC ac wiring issues

Air conditioning quit working all of a sudden. Lights on the ac button in the console light up. Checked coolant pressure and that's fine . Fuses are all fine aswell. Compressors not locked up cause I ran a hot wire from battery to test it and it worked fine and blew cold just like its supposed to. I checked the plug that locks the clutch up on the compressor and have no power the ground side of the plug is fine. I checked the relay also and changed it and still nothing. Any ideas or wiring diagrams online I can check ?

95's had tons of problems with the a/c control head regardless of it lighting up. Check the fuse for the ac clutch in the underhood distribution box. Without doing pinpoint diagnosis you can have a myriad of problems. But the description fits the MO of a control panel crapping out.

All fuses r fine. Just need a diagram so I can pinpoint the problem. Compressor doesn't even engage when the defroster is used. When I run a hot wire to the compressor the ac light in the console lights up even if its not pushed in to cut ac on

panels fried install a new one and everything will work. Had tons of problems on 95's at the shop with the exact same complaint as yours.

which wire did you run 12v to? mine just quit today but was unable to hotwire it, and since i'm driving to AL tomorrow i'd like to "temp" it untill i can find the true problem, or a replacement switch console.
