Aeroforce interceptor acting up
Just bought sprayeddenali's interceptor. its firmware 1.3. When i first got it, i plugged it into my truck and drove around the block. worked like a dream! Plugged it into my dads 04 CCSB and turned off his check engine light. Plugged it back into mine and it was still working great. Today when i first started my truck, it took a while for it to come on. When it finally did, it would display what parameter i was on, but wouldn't actually show what it was (ex: gauge says transmission temp but it won't display the temperature). I tried scrolling though the parameters and it was REALLY laggy (ex: press is a few times before it would change). Tonight its still doing it. I've checked the pins on both the gauge itself and the OBDII port and plug and everything is in good shape. Its acting like its shorting out or something maybe. I have a 2003, sprayedenali had a 2001. Years shouldn't matter. Later I'm going to plug it into my dad's and also a buddy of mine's to see if it will work and if its just acting up in my truck. Anyone have ideas???
I did notice this however....... there are 4 pins on the obdII port and also 4 pins on the the plug. Only three of the pins touch though due to where they are at on both the plug and and the port. Maybe this could be the cause.... bu wouldn't explain why it worked the first few times...
