With system off, in the center slowly and gently push in the cone, see and feel if you have any scratching, rubbing.
x2 it feels/sounds like there is sand in the sub on the recoil

Well i took it into to Jackie Cooper today. They said it was blown up. That was my THIRD goddamn subwoofer. So now instead of getting replacements, they send the blown one off to get serviced. I asked the sales guy AND the installer what the deal was. Neither knew..... Sales guy said the amp settings have been changed... which is IMPOSSIBLE because I nor anyone else has taken the amp cover off. I asked if it was the settings blowing it everytime and they WALKED OFF WHILE I WAS TALKING. It's their fault my damn subwoofer is blowing. I KNOW volume isn't a problem, because i know people that (even with kenwoods, or wal-mart off brand systems) running twice the volume and power and i am.

This ****'s getting me pissed. First, they have to send it to be serviced instead of replacing it like they have. Second, I can't get an answer on what's going on. Three, sales guy IGNORES me while I'm talking and WALKS AWAY. And four, i could here them revving my truck up in the shop.....

Why don't you learn how to install it yourself and get a system worth owning?

I love my kenwood deck, no problems with it.

The shop sells JL and alpine besides kenwood. But I'm thinking I'll just you crutchfield.com from now on

And ask some of you gurus here
