Not sure on the size wire mine is, but it's the typical guage in most amp install kits. I ran it into the red box and the wrapped in with the black convoluted tubing like all the other wires and the only thing you notice is the inline fuse. Haven't had any problems and I'm running 2-10's with a 500 watt amp.

Yeah I am going to be running 4 gauge wires, so hook it up to the battery then. Does anyone have any pictures of wiring installation?
