Default Anyone ever do this to their battery?

So, it got up to 35 degrees here yesterday and since it was nice and warm out I wanted to start my truck up. I haven't started it since November (gets stored winters). I go to install the battery and couldn't figure out why the negative cable felt loose. To my surprise the damn connector came out of the battery. I've never ever had this happen to me before. This was my original battery for my truck that came with it in '04 too . There's nothing wrong with the battery, just the danm connector came out. Maybe this explains my dipping idle issues I've been chasing with HPT and some weird BCM codes in relevance to the brake system. Just FYI, I'll be buying another AC Delco battery unless someone can convince me otherwise. I'm just giving this to you guys as a possible idea of things to check in your electrical system

Duralast Gold batteries are supposed to be some of the best (this coming from someone who works at Oreillys).

I run an Interestate in my truck

Do they look OEM? I don't want some fancy looking bright green, orange, red or yellow battery in my truck. I suppose I could always spraypaint it.

mine has a gold/yellow top. I really dont like it lol... Watch the paint, they could think your trying to hide something for warranty. Of the battery that is

Mike, I can get a Delco 770CCA battery from the dealer for $110 exchanged, is costco that much more cheaper? Also I find it humorous that my truck came with a 600CCA battery. Must be an Oklahoma thing

The good Interstates are completely black, you can purchase them at Sam's Club and Northern Tool

The costco battery was $68 with a refundable $9 core fee. Nothing wrong with delco whatsoever. I simply wanted to save tje money. I believe its around 800 cca too

Maybe it's time for me to sign up at Sams club if the savings is that big. We shall see tomorrow.
