I get a new ipod too, I'm going to get the touch. I don't need the memory of the classic but I have too much for my nano. How do you guys get all your music? What software do you use?

i got a touch back in april & i love it. funny thing is that i don't listen to music on it much... just use it for the calendar, apps, & interwebz. well... i reckon i used the music in the truck - when it actually ran
i jailbroke it a couple months ago & can do a bit more with it now, as well. one down side is that once you have 6 pages of applications, it starts up kinda slow & switching between applications sometimes hesitates (but only just a little - barely noticeable)

The iPod Touch is good for the bigger screen for watching movies and using the apps. I found that if you can find a 5Gen iPod Video either the 60gb or 80gb for really cheap on ebay. Even if the hard drive doesn't work or the battery is dead. As long as the motherboard and the screen are good all you have to do is go to this site. You can get a new, longer life battery and a 240GB hard drive for it for $200. I did it to mine a couple of weeks ago and it works great.
