Default AVIC-F700BT Questions

Can someone please tell me if the AVIC-F700BT HU requires the connection of the parking brake signal and the reverse gear input signal wires for the unit to function correctly? I will not be using a back up camera either. Thanks!

it shouldnt, i know the F900 doesnt

no it does not require the parking brake to be connected or the reverse gear input you can just cut em

i wouldn't cut em tho, just put a but connector or tap on the end and put em outta the way that way they don't short out on nething and if u ever do wanna use em or sell it they are still there.
