best sub placement 06 cc
#21
rongstad, how do you like them say compared to 2 tens, and i dont mean all spl and stuff, i mean like sq and how low and all, i mean im no audiophile and i really dont care about spl, i just want it to sound good and cant give up any seat room or a seat, i was listening to some older songs on itunes today, that i used to jam back when i had a system years ago, and i would crank it up like, well this song has some great bass, but the comp speakers dont do alot of it, even with the sub lol

The best place for amps would be under the seat, and there are boxes that'll fit behind the seat to hold 10s, but you may have to go with different subs (shallow mount) to use them.
Check www.caraudiofactory.com or www.subthump.com
they've got a few selections

I'm not sure if you've found anything for a sub for your truck, but I have a 2005 gmc CC myself. I bought a loaded probox with 1 10" sub that goes behind the seat. I'm very impressed with the sub and box. It is a ported box and sounds better than the dual 10" sealed box I ran before.
